X-Offenders for Community Empowerment is a non-profit advocacy organization that depends on foundation grants and private donations for support.  XCE is under the fiscal non-profit umbrella of the Greater Philadelphia Urban Affairs Coalition through which all donations and disbursements are channeled. 

X-Offenders for Community Empowerment has the following projects in motion  for 2007, the success of which depends on public support:

• The Pardon Me Clinic - providing technical assistance to ex-offenders in removing the barrier of the "felon" label from their police record.  This program transports participants to Harrisburg to view the Pardons process first-hand. This program is a collaboration with Community Legal Services of Philadelphia.



• Community Organization & Advocacy - X Offender for Community Empowerment is constantly vigilant on the activities of the State Legislature in order to promote and protect the rights of ex-offenders in becoming full citizens of this commonwealth and nation.
